Once Again Thrift Store also known as OATS was
established
by the HRC Calaveras Crisis Center's Advisory Board
in 1996.
The thrift store was first located on St. Charles
Street in an old residence.
In 1998 it moved to the location
near the old airport.
In 2002 Kelli Fraguero, the current
Program Director for the HRC
Calaveras Crisis Center, began to
oversee OATS and in 2004
HRC Calaveras Crisis Center purchased
the property at 682 E.
St. Charles Street, where it is now
located.
OATS has 3 full time and 2 part time employees. There are a
number
of volunteers who offer their time on an on going basis.
The staff and volunteers are passionate about the work they do
there.
Volunteers and donations are crucial for the thrift store
to operate.
OATS is in need of furniture, housewares, jewelry,
tools, or any useful
household items.
